Gemma graduated from Mohawk College in Ontario in 2019 with a diploma in Therapeutic Massage Therapy. She has passed her board exams in Ontario and transferred her license to BC, where Lake Country is home.

Gemma’s primary treatment focus is headaches/migraines, stress + sleep management and back, neck and shoulder tension.

Gemma utilizes relaxation techniques to be effective, including hot + cold stones (her favourite modality), and she likes using deeper techniques where appropriate to treat knots as well as fascial techniques and stretching to help you achieve your treatment goals.

What she enjoys about her work is the opportunity to create peace in a client’s life, whether that be in the form of freedom from pain, an increased sense of well-being, or just an opportunity to be in a quiet setting and allowing care. She values her commitment to doing good quality work and love of learning.

Her background in holistic nutrition has taught her the connection of mind, body and spirit and hopes to bring these elements into her practice. When she’s not at work she’s often found deep in a book or puzzle, swimming in lakes, and talking about astrology.
